TriWest Acupuncture Coverage at Path Acupuncture In Las Vegas
Path Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine is proud to work with TriWest Healthcare Alliance to provide acupuncture care for eligible Veterans through the VA Community Care Network in Las Vegas. We are honored to support Veterans by offering evidence-based, noninvasive acupuncture treatments as part of their authorized VA care. A valid referral from your local VA Medical Center is required before acupuncture services can be scheduled.
TriWest administers care on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and all acupuncture services must follow VA Community Care guidelines. Our office has experience coordinating with TriWest and VA systems to help ensure a smooth scheduling and authorization process once your referral is approved.
TriWest Acupuncture Referral Requirements
To receive acupuncture treatment through TriWest, the following steps are required:
You must obtain a referral for acupuncture from your local VA Medical Center
The referral must be reviewed, approved, and issued through VA Community Care
The referral must specifically authorize acupuncture services
Without an approved VA Community Care referral, TriWest is unable to authorize or cover acupuncture treatment. Unfortunately, we cannot schedule appointments until authorization has been confirmed.
How to Schedule Acupuncture with TriWest & Path Acupuncture
Once your VA referral has been approved, there are two ways to schedule your acupuncture visits at Path Acupuncture:
